The 3rd 3W Congress is the largest meeting in Poland and this part of Europe of experts who deal with technologies in the area of water, hydrogen and coal. On November 27-28, Warsaw will once again become a meeting place for experts in the 3W sector. The two previous editions of the Congress brought together several hundred people: scientists, entrepreneurs, representatives of NGOs, the public sector and financial institutions.
The 3W idea focuses on the resources around which business, science, government and society should build their green transformation strategy – water, without which there would be no life on Earth, hydrogen, which is the future of energy, and new coal technologies and their potential. Innovations from under the 3W sign have the potential to become a “gamechanger” for the Polish economy and accelerate its development.
During the 3rd 3W Congress, experts will discuss how the 3W sector is developing and what challenges it faces, as well as technology trends related to water, hydrogen and coal. The theme at this year’s 3W Congress will be elemental carbon and related technologies used in the medical, IT, defense and space industries. However, there will be no shortage of topics related to the sustainable management and conservation of water resources and the development of hydrogen technologies. Experts will discuss what a hydrogen-powered future might look like and take a closer look at solutions that have been successfully used in other countries. The results of analyses and reports that deal with the development of the 3W sector and the most interesting 3W projects that are being implemented by local governments will be presented.

The congress will begin with a networking breakfast with all registered participants. This will be an ideal opportunity to establish business relationships and develop your own initiatives.
A variety of meeting formats are envisioned – from classic ones that serve to impart expert knowledge, to inspiring interactive formats that facilitate the presentation of innovations and the acquisition of partners. The event’s agenda plans include. numerous talks with experts, question and answer sessions, presentations of already implemented solutions, moderated brainstorming sessions and speeddating.
The Congress will also host the finals of two 3W competitions:
– Start-up Showdown – is a competition for innovative 3W start-ups from the Tri-Mountain region that implement projects in line with the 3W Idea and are authors or originators of technologies using at least one of three resources – water, hydrogen and non-energy coal.
– Science-Vision 3W – is a competition for visionaries who have out-of-the-box ideas for future solutions and cutting-edge technologies, who want to create a future with water, hydrogen and carbon playing first fiddle.
Your admission ticket entitles you to participate in all activities during the 3rd 3W Congress (networking breakfast, panel discussions, Q&A sessions, presentations, moderated brainstorming sessions). Funds from ticket sales will be donated by BGK to one of the initiatives that Congress participants will indicate, using a special application. Among the projects selected will be, among others. Swamp roofs or the purchase of retention tanks to collect rainwater.
