It is worth mentioning that the two highest aid rates do not apply to perennial grasslands where the density of cattle, sheep, goats, horses or geese is less than 0.3 IU/ha, and to crops of fruit trees and bushes or strawberries, for which in 2023. damage caused by spring frost, hail or hurricane has occurred.
The aid is granted by a decision of the head of the district office of the Agency for the Restructuring and Modernization of Agriculture competent for the place of residence or seat of the agricultural producer, upon his application submitted on a form made available on the ARMA website.
Drought Aid 2024. – legal basis
The legal basis for drought relief support is as follows Decree of the Council of Ministers of January 27, 2015. on the detailed scope and methods of implementation of certain tasks of the Agency for the Restructuring and Modernization of Agriculture, according to which the agency provides, among other things. Financial assistance for resumption of production on farms and special departments of agricultural production, where damage caused by drought, hail, driving rain, negative effects of overwintering, spring frost, flood, hurricane, lightning, landslide or avalanche, within the meaning of the provisions on insurance of agricultural crops and livestock.
