Which pool is the deepest in the world? Deep Dive Dubai

The world’s deepest pool is located in Dubai. It is the Deep Dive Dubai complex, opened in July 2021, which has very quickly become one of the biggest tourist attractions in the United Arab Emirates. Located in the Nad Al Sheba district, this approximately 1,500-square-meter facility is a true paradise for lovers of underwater experiences and an ideal place for water sports enthusiasts. The very architecture of the Deep Dive Dubai building draws attention. Its roof resembles a huge oyster in shape. This is no accident, as for many years Dubai was a settlement whose inhabitants made their living by fishing for pearls.

The depth of the Deep Dive Dubai pool is exactly 60.02 meters, which has guaranteed it an entry in the Guinness Book of World Records, while removing the Polish diving pool from the podium. The facility’s capacity is estimated at 14 million liters. To better understand the order of magnitude, it is worth imagining that it is the equivalent of 6 Olympic swimming pools. The water temperature at Deep Dive Dubai is maintained at 30°C, which creates perfect conditions for diving.

What distinguishes the world’s deepest pool?

Deep Dive Dubai attracts both newcomers to diving and professionals from many countries. The facility is an excellent training center, but also hides many surprises. It is a unique tourist attraction with a theme of a sunken city, whose richly detailed nooks and crannies can be explored. Among other things, underwater streets, buildings, garages, cars, motorcycles, telephone booths, an underwater game room and many other attractions await. Also noteworthy are underwater caves and atmospheric light and sound effects.

It is worth mentioning that the Deep Dive Dubai facility also includes a dive equipment and souvenir store, meeting rooms and even a restaurant. It also serves as an underwater film studio. For visitors who don’t necessarily want to dive, the complex offers spectacular viewing platforms from which to admire the beauty of the underwater world.

What is the deepest diving pool in Poland? Deepspot in Mszczonów

The deepest diving pool in Poland – Deepspot – is located in Mszczonów, about 45 km from Warsaw. It is a small town in the Zyrardow district, in the Mazovian province. The facility was commissioned in November 2020, becoming the world’s deepest swimming pool for several months. Although it has lost its position as the world leader, it is still the deepest in Europe and is very popular among beginners and certified divers.

Deepspot is 45.45 meters deep and holds about 9100m3 of crystalline water maintained at 32-34°C, creating excellent diving conditions.

Underwater tunnels and other attractions in the deepest diving pool in Poland

The deepest pool in Poland offers excellent conditions for diving, including with a cylinder. Freedivers, that is, people diving on held breath, also develop their skills here. It is worth mentioning that the facility can be used not only by people with experience or certificates, but also those just beginning their adventure with diving and wishing to develop their skills under the guidance of experienced instructors.

Numerous attractions prepared for divers in the deepest pool in Poland create the impression of deep diving in an open body of water. Noteworthy attractions include a sunken boat wreck, a freediving elevator, and even underwater tunnels and several-story caves.

The Deepspot facility is, of course, not just a swimming pool. At a level several meters below the water’s surface, guests have at their disposal comfortable hotel rooms from which to admire the divers, a catering area, an underwater viewing tunnel and modern conference rooms.
