The Scientific and Technical Conference is an opportunity for exchanging experiences and making connections

The Polish Association of Sanitary Engineers and Technicians, Kraków Branch, is organizing the 7th Scientific and Technical Conference titled “Operation, Maintenance, and Safety of Gas, Water Supply, Sewage, and Heating Systems,” which will take place on October 23-25, 2024, in Kościelisko.

Scientific and Technical Conference – Proposed topics

The conference will be an opportunity to gain knowledge and exchange experiences between the academic and engineering communities in the areas of the safety of sanitary and critical infrastructure systems, modern material and construction solutions, technologies and IT systems, legal conditions, as well as the functioning of these systems based on the sustainable use of environmental resources.

The planned scope of the conference will cover the following topics:

• directions of gas network development in the context of the energy transition;
• renewable and low-emission technologies in gas engineering;
• risks in the operation of water supply and sewage systems;
• reliability of water treatment, sewage treatment, and sewage sludge disposal processes;
• challenges related to changes in European law (new Wastewater Directive, implementation of the Drinking Water Quality Directive);
• stormwater management;
• modern heating systems using waste and renewable energy sources (RES);
• IT tools for managing gas, water supply, sewage, and heating systems;
• innovative material and construction solutions in gas, water supply, sewage, and heating systems;
• modern measuring devices in sanitary infrastructure;
• safety and monitoring of gas, water supply, sewage, and heating infrastructure;
• technical renewal of gas, water supply, sewage, and heating networks;
• energy efficiency and cost optimization in gas, water supply, sewage, and heating systems;
• cybersecurity of OT and IT infrastructure.

The scientific sessions will be led by experts in their fields. Participation in the event offers the chance to establish new business contacts, strengthen existing relationships, present offers and solutions to potential clients, as well as gain knowledge and valuable experience.
