TOGETAIR 2024 climate summit – organizer, location and date of event
TOGETAIR, as they describe themselves, is a platform for agreement, exchange of ideas and cooperation to protect the environment, achieve climate neutrality and support the Sustainable Development Goals. Often the initiative is supported by Polish and foreign entities, including local governments, government institutions, scientific and business representatives, the media and NGOs. The event is mainly aimed at encouraging leaders from various industries to lend their voices to the forum and propose their changes, as well as allowing experts to spread their knowledge and experience.
The Clean Air Foundation and the Positive Ideas Foundation are responsible for organizing the event. The reason why we are the largest environmental event in the country is that we cover all topics related to ecology – the most urgent, most difficult to achieve, such as energy independence or the transformation of our energy industry, to soft topics that affect each of us – issues of air quality, waste, of which we produce a lot, electronics, but also the quality of water and its resources. – This is what Agata Smieja, President of the Clean Air Foundation and Organizer of the TOGETAIR Climate Summit, said about the climate summit.
This year’s edition was the fifth in a row and was located in Warsaw, specifically in Varso Place, the tallest building not only in Poland, but also in the European Union. As every year, the date of the conference fell on International Earth Day, which is April 22-23. A total of 32 debates were scheduled and ran from 9:00 a.m. to 5:25 p.m. each day. As always, the event was carried out in a hybrid-stationary and online format, in three TV studios.
