March 1 is the deadline for submitting the results of continuous measurements of the quantity of groundwater and surface water abstracted and the quantity and quality of wastewater discharged to water or to the ground for the calendar year 2022 within the scope specified in the water permit or integrated permit.
We wrote about the need to submit the same measurement results to the WIOŚ by January 31 here.
Water service users shall submit to the authority competent for water permits (the competent authority of the Polish Waters) or integrated by March 1 for the previous year the results of continuous measurements under Art. 304 para. 1 point 1 of the Water Law.
The method of presenting the results of the measurements is specified in a regulation of the Minister of Maritime Affairs and Inland Navigation dated January 20, 2020. On the form and layout of the reported results of measurements of the amount of abstracted groundwater and surface water, as well as the quantity and quality of wastewater discharged into water or into the ground.
Submission of information to the Water Authority on the amount of groundwater withdrawn, e.g., under Art. 552 para. 2b or under the terms of an issued water permit does not exempt the results from being reported under Art. 304.
Due to the failure to submit results or the submission of results untimely, in accordance with Article. 477 pt. 12 of the Water Law Act, the entity is subject to a fine.
